Buda, Texas is situated in Hays County, the fastest-growing county in the United States (2020 U.S. Census) and leverages a convenient location along I-35 between two major metropolitan areas, Austin and San Antonio. Roadway Infrastructure Connects All Major Texas Cities to Buda
Buda’s close proximity to Interstate 35 and location near the geographic center of the state offers easy-on, easy-off access to the major highway systems that connect every major city in the state.
Situated at the crossroads of IH-35 and SH-45, Buda also offers quick access to Austin, Round Rock, and Temple to the north; San Marcos, New Braunfels, and San Antonio to the south.
I-35 is a major north-south interstate highway, playing a crucial role in connecting businesses and facilitating the movement of goods within Texas and beyond. Buda’s central location off I-35 is a significant factor in its supply chain advantage.
The newly completed extension from FM 1626 to I-35 in Buda offers improved connectivity and reduced congestion, positively impacting both residents and businesses. The extension allows large trucks to access quarries without congesting downtown Buda and provides strategic detour routes for I-35, enhancing overall accessibility and resilience for the local area.
