Incentive Programs
The Buda Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) offers a range of financial incentives for businesses and have historically increased our incentives year-over-year. From Local Enterprise Assistance Program (small business incentives) designed to support workforce training, equipment purchases, marketing, and building improvements to larger incentives that are designed for a broader community impact. All incentives are evaluated by our seven-member Board of Directors and tailored to the specific needs of this business. We aim to help existing Buda businesses grow and prosper as well as attract new businesses that will add to the fabric of our community.
Business Retention & Expansion
The health and vitality of our existing businesses is a fundamental component of our overall efforts to sustain and grow our community. As a result, the Buda EDC has initiated a Business Retention and Expansion Program and strategy to support the success and growth of existing businesses and industries. We maintain relationships with our businesses by conducting annual Business Retention and Expansion meetings on-site with our Business Engagement Manager. By keeping an open line of communication, we learn what challenges our companies face and how we can step in to assist.
