Shannon Cameron is a passionate community leader with over 17 years of experience in project management, nonprofit leadership, and community development. After leaving a successful corporate career with roles at Philip Morris and AT&T, where she consistently exceeded goals and earned top-performer recognitions, Shannon shifted her focus to the nonprofit sector. She brings a blend of strategic insight and hands-on dedication to every role, using her skills in organizational growth, communication, and fundraising to make a lasting impact.
Shannon’s experience spans diverse leadership roles with organizations like the Ice Hockey Association of Austin, Johnson HS Band Boosters, and Boy Scouts of America, where she has supported youth programs and educational initiatives, often taking on board positions to help shape community events and policies. She has also thrived in direct sales as an Independent Director, building successful teams and receiving national awards.
Family and adventure are at the heart of Shannon’s life. She and her husband of 30 years, Brett, are proud parents to two sons, Ian and Logan, with whom she shares a love of trying new activities like downhill skiing, rock climbing, and even racecar driving. Shannon’s passion for sports includes rooting for her hometown Minnesota Vikings and cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team. Driven by her commitment to building strong partnerships and making a positive impact, Shannon continues to inspire and support her community in every way.
