New demographic data from The Retail Coach is indicative of a continuing transformation of  Buda, Texas from year to year.

Numbers indicate Buda's population has grown by 4.37% from last year. Buda's population remains fairly young, but the median age increased slightly to 33.8 from 33.1 years. Education level are continuing to rise in the city, with an 28.7% increase in the number of residents with a Bachelor's Degree.

The September 2014 sales tax deposit for the City of Buda was $453,308.45, an increase of 40.9% from September 2013. While this didn't beat the record for a monthly deposit set in May 2014 at $464,892.53, but it contributed to the largest fiscal year sales tax collections for the City.

The July 2014 sales tax deposit ($395,246.40) for the City of Buda represented an increase of over 25% from July 2013's deposit. This marked the seventh month of the fiscal year that Buda experienced double-digit growth rates.
