A Buda resident for 19 years, Lee Urbanovsky (pronounced ER-ban-OFF-skee) brings a project management perspective to city government. Lee is the operations manager for a specialty contractor. Throughout his career, he has managed complex, multi-faceted projects ranging from $50,000 to over $100 million. During his construction career, he has served as a Superintendent, Project Manager, and Operations Manager. He brings over 20 years of development and construction experience. As part of his real-world experience, Lee is well-versed with managing budgets, reviewing and analyzing financial reports and adhering to rigid client deadlines and schedules. Lee has a unique ability to forecast, anticipate, and plan around upcoming obstacles. Lee grew up in a small town in central Texas in Milam County, where he graduated valedictorian of his class at Milano High School. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in construction science from Texas A&M University in 1999. He attended Texas State University in 2004 while working on his MBA. In 2009, he earned his Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification. He has been acknowledged as an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP). Lee has been a Member of the Buda Chamber of Commerce, the Elm Grove PTA and has held several HOA positions while working for a developer. He was a member of Buda United Methodist Church and Journey United Methodist Church in Buda. He and his family currently attend Vertical Chapel in east Buda.
