Board President

Jennifer Storm has lived in Buda for over six years, where she is active in the community serving on the Board of Directors for the Hays CISD Education Foundation and the Buda Economic Development Corporation. Jennifer is a native Texan, raised in Premont on Storm Nursery, her family’s tree farm. Jennifer has over 12 years non-profit association experience and 15 years government relations experience. She currently serves Friends of Texas Public Schools, a statewide public education association group, as the Director of Business Operations where she is responsible for the day to day operations of Friends. Prior to joining Friends, Jennifer was the Senior Director of Planning and Administration for Texas Retailers Association and previously served as the Executive Director of the South Texas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC). Prior to AGC, Jennifer spent over six years at The University of Texas at San Antonio in the Office of the President as the Assistant Director for External Affairs. Jennifer is a graduate of Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a Bachelors of Business in Marketing. She is an alumni of Leadership Corpus Christi & Leadership San Antonio. She is married to David Nuckels and together they have two boys who attend a Hays CISD elementary school.
