A Buda resident for 19 years, Lee Urbanovsky (pronounced ER-ban-OFF-skee) brings a project management perspective to city government. Lee is the operations manager for a specialty contractor. Throughout his career, he has managed complex, multi-faceted projects ranging from $50,000 to over $100 million. During his construction career, he has served as a Superintendent, Project Manager, and Operations Manager. He brings over 20 years of development and construction experience. As part of his real-world experience, Lee is well-versed with managing budgets, reviewing and analyzing financial reports and adhering to rigid client deadlines and schedules. Lee has a unique ability to forecast, anticipate, and plan around upcoming obstacles. Amy Martin has 15 years of real estate experience, of which three years has been working directly with builders, developers, utility and waste companies in a business development role. Amy currently serves on the board of directors for HomeAid Austin, a nonprofit that partners with local nonprofits to leverage their builder and trade connections to build housing for people experiencing homelessness. Amy grew up in a small East Texas town near Tyler, graduating in three years and in the top ten percent of her class before enrolling at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. While attending SFA, she participated in America Reads and was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a service organization. In her senior year, she secured the coveted internship at Walt Disney World, where she completed the Disney University Organizational Leadership course. Amy has lived in Buda for three years with her husband of 16 years, their son and daughter who attend Hays CISD schools and their two Australian Shepherd dogs.
